Yea, I agree. I mean this is kind of an edge case, a case that would only come up when testing or trying stuff out, and as long as my disgrace is out there people will see a resolution to it.

If you hit f12 in chrome and click on settings there is an option to disable all caching while developer tools is open. Unless there is another caching proxy in between you and eventstore this should be sufficient.
