All searches for node.js clients for eventstore seem to result in incomplete/stale projects. I wonder if there are any concrete plans to have an officially developed/supported package to access eventstore from Node (native protocol not the http atom one)

We have definite plans to release an officially supported gRPC based node client. The timelines have not been established yet.

I must say it is disappointing to know that there is no timeline yet, specially after making a decision to switch the protocol to gRPC and deprecate the other Atom version.
I can understand if the preferred client is C# and for it to receive the it first, but some sort of predictable timeline would be really beneficial to encourage users to try and possibly adopt EventStore.
