Need advice. Rolling back to 4.1.1.0

We are running a scavenge once every 1 or 2 weeks just to minimize the recover time if we have to reboot the service or it crashes.

But as is every time we launch a scavenge, about 12 or so hours into the scavenge Eventstore crashes.

The first error appears to be on the mono level and the second one i have no idea. I was hoping someone could tell me what we should double check or what options we have but we’re not getting anywhere. We’re alreay had multiple problems with the cluster approch running into known bugs that are only in the v6 but v6 isn’t out yet and falling back to the single server isn’t working either.

So unless someone has a bright adea, and as crazy as it sounds, we are thinking of moving backwards to v4.

Apologies for taking so long to reply to this issue, I have asked for some additional information in the issue you linked. Would you mind providing that so that we can further diagnose the issue?

I replied to your question in github

sudo apt-get install eventstore-oss=5.0.8-1

But i don’t know what that means and what options that opens up for me.

I responded on the other board.

Basically we can’t jump to https so would it be wise to run with the “Dev” flag or use a different version or purhaps there is another option.

Also does using the app install command mean the mono lib is not imbedded?
