Just starting eventstore - should I go straight to 3.0?

I’m just starting to use eventstore. I’ve a project that will probably not go live for at least 4 months. Would it make sense to go straight to 3.0.0RC2 - what’s the estimated incubation time from here to 3.0 final?

Yes you should. It will be going live way before then
