We have a pretty big DB (>2 TB) and would like to know more details on what takes the most disk space in order to decide what we could truncate more frequently or where to save mor disk space. Is there a way to get some more detailed statistics on the distribution of the disk usage?

what version are you using right now ?
We are using 20.6.1 with plans to soon upgrade to 20.10.0
ok , in previous version, statistics were written to the DB , but that is turned off by defaults in yours.
Do you delete streams / events ?
if yes make sure to schedule scavenges (one node at a time )
There is a tool that allows to do some analysis of the database.
It is part of the commercial offering, if you have support I would ask for it .
