$correlationid and $causationid metadata keys

I’m already using my own keys for tracking the correlation/causation relationships between messages in my application (conveniently CorrelationId and CausationId).

Somehow I managed to miss the $correlationid and $causationid keys in the documentation. Should I be using these instead? I’m a bit unclear to me from the documentation if they’re only for use by EventStore.
