category projection and retention

Hi

If you have individual streams with $maxAge set and a category projection on top, the category projection will grow forever since linkTo events in the category stream are not deleted on scavenge?

I guess the lesson is to not use a category projection for unbounded fast growing streams…

There will be a patch to remove linkTos that no longer exist. I was
amazed scavenge was not doing this, there was a task about this 3-4
years ago and I thought it had been completed.
