when creating a new event store user, is there any kind of restriction for the login name and password?
Characters that aren’t allowed? min/max length?

Good question. I’ve wondered this myself. Anyone know?
I would have to look to verify but I believe there is not as of now
though I would discourage using / in name (or other chars needing url
encoding) in case you have to manually type things etc to view streams
